Sooo much Fun
Everybody is entitled to their opinion and mine happens to be that BAR is a very nice place to unwind after a long week and just have so much fun. My sister and her best friend had their 21st bday bash and BAR was one of our stops through the week. May I say, that I have NEVER seen a mechanicalbull in real life and have always wanted to ride one! So you imagine how much fun I had! :) The girls/bartenders were beautiful and I'm no lesbian but they had some hott girls but so much fun and were very good at their job of hyping everyone up! They were just so much fun pointing and getting people up on the bar, and dancing around in their little tanks and skirts hahaha. Security was very thorough and even turned away somebody that used a fake in front of us. The dj was updated but didnt feel official but was still very much fun with the right music, and getting everyone involved! The only complaint (I would hardly call it a complaint-) was the crowd there were maybe 20 people in their, although we went on a thursday lol. The bathrooms were a little grubby but they just need a paint job and some TLC no biggie

This place can be a lot of fun. The dance floor is big enough to get onto and dance, even if the place is crowded. The music is a lot of fun. Drinks are a little expensive but not totally unreasonable.

Nice if you are young
This is a good tiem if you are college age. The place gets really packed and you are around very young people.

hard to have fun
The place gets really packed and it gets really hard to talk. Not fond of the girls dancing on the bar..not really a place for me.

Good solid club for a good time if your into the dance cluib scene. Plenty of people packed in every night.

Bar Norfolk is where you should be on a fri night... Ask for Danielle the bartender^^
ok, after looking at some of these other reviews i can't help but wonder if they accidently drunkenly wandered into some other bar and blamed bar norfolk by mistake. sometimes a bad night is a bad night ladies and gentlemen regardless of where you go HOWEVER, all is not lost for after deciding to see for myself i am very happy to report that Bar Norfolk is definitely a great place to go on a friday night. the door security was friendly and even joked about with me for awhile before pointing me to the nearest bartender (her names Danielle and all i can say about her is wow.). first thing i did was walk around the club and it was very clean, the trashcans were empty, the buffet was great and neatly presented and the bar was also spotless. as for the drinks. very reasonable not to mention the fact that they definitely don't skimp on the alcohol. the music was loud but not too loud and the dj made sure everyone was having a good time. no fights or drama and the bathrooms * at least as far as the mens room was kept clean and staffed by an attendant all night long. as for the guy/girl ratio, trust me there is something for everyone whether it's just to dance, make new friends or a little flirting. bottom line ppl. Bar Norfolk is a great place to go and if you don't at least try the place and see for your self then i weep for you.

Crowded
This place usually gets very crowded. It's only fun if you go with a group of people on college nite or something. Most other times I didnt really like not being able to move. At least the bartenders give you something to look at.
