Captain George's Seafood

Come down to VA Beach every year with daughter for a Convention. Heard about this from others at Convention who go to George's every year on Thurs. eve. We decided to try it and boy are we hooked. Everything looks and taste very fresh! No one will go leaving hungry! Everything from soups, salads, pasta, bread, seafood galore and desserts. Plus wine & beer and other alcoholic beverages avail. Of course non alcoholic avail. too! Looking forward to my next trip. In fact going to Williamsburg in May and doing a SIDE TRIP down to VA Beach to eat! Keep up the great job!!!

I loved the food all you can eat seafood the best around town!!!the services was great!!!nice and clean.

This buffet style restaurant is serving up deep fried seafood that tastes like it was previously frozen. With all the fresh options in the area, this is probably not your best choice.

if you want to eat good fish do not come here. We were not impressed at all and will not be back. There are other fish restaurants that have way better meals than this place!!

seafood of all types. very expensive but you have to try it once to taste everything. We have been there several times on special occasions. do not take the kids unless they are good eaters you will waste your money. great atmosphere.

We used to enjoy eatign here. The service is terrible and the selection is
limited. bring back the old captain.

We went here because we heard the buffet was excellent, but what we got was sub standard. The price is a little high ($30 per person) and the food was not good. The fish was dry from being under the heat lamps for awhile, and my boyfriend and I were both sick for a couple days after eating here. Next time we will stick to the good seafood restaurants on shore drive.

Capn G has a great seafood buffet selection. Ofcoarse there is crab legs, and I always get my moneys worth on that, but there is still so much more to compliment the legs.

One of THE best sea food places around.
I'm very picky w/restaurant foods, but this place has not once served subpar food to me.
The buffet is not just for tourists: locals like me have loved this for decades. No, the price is not cheap, but man is it worth it!
Even if you don't like seafood, the other items are just as tasty and the desserts ROCK. Fantastic for celebrations & big group meetings.
Just Georges (the bar)is a great hang out if you are looking for a more casual outing.
